Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") outlines prohibited uses of Yardock (the "Service") operated by VRocket Inc. This Policy is designed to protect our users, our Service, and the internet community as a whole from irresponsible or illegal activities.
By using the Service, you agree to comply with this Policy. Violation of this Policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.

You may not create profiles or upload content that:
2.1 Illegal Content
- Violates any local, state, national, or international law or regulation
- Promotes or facilitates illegal activities (e.g., drug trafficking, terrorism, fraud)
- Contains or links to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or child exploitation
- Infringes on intellectual property rights (copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets)
- Contains stolen information or trade secrets
2.2 Harmful Content
- Contains malware, viruses, trojans, worms, or other malicious code
- Promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
- Depicts or promotes violence, gore, or cruelty
- Contains sexually explicit material or pornography
2.3 Abusive Content
- Harasses, threatens, or bullies individuals or groups
- Promotes hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
- Contains doxxing (sharing private personal information without consent)
- Impersonates another person or entity
2.4 Deceptive Content
- Contains false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Promotes scams, phishing, or social engineering attacks
- Contains spam or unsolicited commercial communications
3. Prohibited Uses
3.1 System Abuse
You may not:
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or computer systems
- Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the Service or networks connected to the Service
- Attempt to circumvent security measures, access controls, or usage limits
- Probe or test the vulnerability of the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
3.2 Service Misuse
You may not:
- Resell or redistribute the Service without explicit written permission
- Use the Service to compete with or benchmark against our Service
- Use the Service to develop competing products or services
- Share your account credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or restrictions
3.3 Fraudulent Activity
You may not:
- Use stolen credit cards or payment methods
- Engage in payment fraud or chargebacks without valid reason
- Manipulate the credit system or attempt to obtain credits without payment
- Create fake accounts or provide false information
4. Privacy and Data Protection
4.1 Personal Information
You may not:
- Include personal information of others without their consent (e.g., identity documents, credit cards, medical records)
- Use the Service to process sensitive personal data in violation of privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Share or sell data extracted from the Service without appropriate rights
4.2 Harassment and Impersonation
You may not:
- Use the Service to harass, stalk, or threaten individuals
- Create fake profiles or impersonate other professionals
- Use the Service to misrepresent your identity or credentials
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Copyright Infringement
You may not upload content that infringes on copyright, such as:
- Copyrighted project descriptions without permission
- Portfolio images that you don't have rights to use
- Any content you don't have rights to use

- Description of the copyrighted work
- Location of the infringing content
- Your contact information
- Statement that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorized
- Statement that the information is accurate
- Your physical or electronic signature
6. Fair Use Examples
✅ Acceptable Uses:
- Creating profiles showcasing your own skills and experience
- Displaying projects you've worked on or have permission to show
- Using the AI chatbot to help clients understand your expertise
- Linking to your professional social media profiles
- Sharing accurate information about your availability
- Representing your own authentic work and achievements
❌ Unacceptable Uses:
- Creating fake profiles or misrepresenting your skills
- Displaying projects you didn't work on or have permission to show
- Impersonating other professionals or using their work
- Using the Service to scrape data or create competing platforms
- Creating profiles for commercial resale or spam
- Including illegal or harmful content in your profile
7. Enforcement
7.1 Monitoring
While we respect your privacy, we reserve the right to:
- Monitor usage patterns to detect abuse or fraudulent activity
- Review content if we receive reports of violations
- Investigate suspected violations of this Policy
- Cooperate with law enforcement in investigations
7.2 Consequences of Violations
Violations of this Policy may result in:
- Warning: First-time minor violations
- Content Removal: Removal of violating content
- Temporary Suspension: Loss of access for a specified period
- Permanent Termination: Permanent ban from the Service
- Legal Action: Referral to law enforcement for serious violations
- No Refund: No refunds will be issued for terminated accounts
7.3 Appeals
If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may appeal by contacting us at legal@yardock.com with:
- Your account email address
- Date of suspension/termination
- Explanation of why you believe it was in error
- Any supporting evidence
Appeals will be reviewed within 7 business days. Our decision on appeals is final.
